Trifecta Health respectfully appreciates referrals from other medical health care providers.
A course of TMS treatment at Trifecta Health can help patients for whom conventional treatment did not bring desired results.
We feel honored that our colleagues would have enough confidence in our abilities to refer their patients for TMS treatment at our center. We believe that it is our professional duty to maintain a collaborative relationship with the referring practitioner to ensure that conventional treatment is not interrupted.
At Trifecta Health, we work to foster the therapeutic alliance that a patient has with a referring provider. We look forward to collaborating with you, our patients’ main health care providers, to determine the best treatment options for those patients who have not responded to other conventional treatment regimens. Our goal is to work collaboratively with you to improve your patient’s symptoms, to restore function and to improve the quality of your patient’s life. Following a course of TMS at Trifecta Health, the patient will be expected to return to his or her referring provider for continuation of psychotherapy and/or medication management.
We will discuss your patients with you but we will not perform extensive therapy with your patients. Nor will we adjust their medications without consulting with you. If you refer patients to us, you will participate in their treatment throughout the process. Patietns will continue seeing you during and after treatment and will continue seeing you for therapy. You will receive detailed case notes regarding the treatment that has transpired throughout therapy. We will continue to consult with you on their progress and care during the TMS treatment. Studies have shown that patients receiving TMS are more responsive to other treatment modalities during and after their TMS treatment, so it is even more important that you continue to do therapy during this time. You and your patient are always welcome to follow up with our staff.
We welcome your inquiries about TMS Therapy and how it may help some of your patients. We would also like to extend an open invitation to visit our office, see the TMS Therapy System and learn more about the treatment process. Please contact us either by phone at (212) 233-2830 or through this website with questions and referrals as well as to schedule a time to visit our office.
